How to Convert Magnetic Scale Readings to Distance
A magnetic scale measures position by detecting a sequence of magnetic marks on a metal scale. To convert raw readings into actual distance, you need the scale's calibration value, which defines the spacing (period) between marks.

If the reading is N and the mark spacing is P, the actual distance D can be calculated as:
D = N * P
Ensure proper calibration and environmental control to maintain measurement accuracy.
