Project Background:
The wheel hub is a load-bearing component with several critical inspection items such as depth, roundness, crown, concentricity, eccentricity and deflection, all of which affect driving vibration and safety.
Project Requirement:
This project requires non-contact long-distance measurement with high speed, high accuracy, large range and strong resistance to optical interference to ensure wheel hub castings meet quality standards.
Solution:
(Atonm LD1-H400 laser displacement sensor)
This solution uses the Atonm LD1-H400 laser displacement sensor. It is compact, robust and highly accurate with 400μm repeatability and 1.5ms response time, meeting the customer conditions.
Laser distance sensor uses laser technology for measurement and consists of a laser source, detector and measurement electronics. In the automotive field it can measure the distance between the body and ground and analyze vehicle stability and damping performance during driving.
The laser displacement sensor is compact and rugged and can use vehicle power, increasing practicality. It can also be used for body positioning on production lines where accurate relative positions are essential for operations such as drilling, stamping and assembly.
