Color Sensor | Cosmetic Bottle Orientation and Mark Detection

Project Background:

A cosmetic bottle line requires the bottle mouth to face the filling head. The customer prints a small black mark on the bottle; when the mark is detected the bottle is correctly oriented.

Solution:

Use Atonm CL1 Color Sensor with CLH-L41 probe. Mount the probe vertically above the filling area; when the black mark passes the detection zone, the sensor outputs a switch signal to PLC to stop the turntable and start filling.
