Fiber Amplifier FA1-E | LED Chip Placement Quality Control
Project Background:
An LED SMD placer needs to detect missing chips at high speed (up to 18,000 pcs/h). The customer wanted a reliable sensor to detect presence and count placements.
Solution:
Use Atonm FA1-E fiber amplifier with probes positioned at the placement point. Each time a chip passes the detection zone, FA1-E outputs a pulse to the controller; absence of a pulse indicates a missing chip and triggers error handling.
