Color Distinction Sensor | Automatic Tile Sorting Application

Project Background:

A ceramics factory needed automatic sorting of polished tiles by color grade to replace manual sorting and reduce labor costs.

Challenge:

Glazed surfaces are highly reflective and color differences are subtle; the sensor must detect three grade colors reliably and work with narrow detection angles.

Solution:

Use Atonm CL2 Color Distinction Sensor with CLH-L41 detector heads. The CL2 supports multi-color detection and robust color processing to sort tiles into corresponding stacks automatically.
