Metal Double-Sheet Detector | Li-ion Electrode Double-Sheet Detection Solution

Project Background:

A lithium battery manufacturer faced frequent double-feed of long, thin electrode sheets due to sticking. The equipment environment has strong EMI and limited mounting space, and electrode thicknesses are extremely small.

Solution:

Use Atonm 1000L Metal Double-Sheet Detector with M12 probes. The transmitter probe mounts on the pick-up arm and the receiver is installed under the support plate; the detector analyzes electromagnetic signals to detect double sheets and signals the controller to refeed if double-feed occurs.
