Mark Sensor | Plastic Bag Cutting Registration Solution for a Shenzhen Customer

Project Background:

Plastic packaging production requires accurate cutting at the mark printed on the edge. The mark area is small and web speeds are high, demanding very fast detection and signal output to the host for precise cutter timing.

Solution:

Use the integrated CL3 Mark Sensor. CL3 is compact and easy to mount; learning is two-step and suitable for print operators. After detecting the mark, CL3 outputs a switch signal to the host to stop the web and trigger the cutter. CL3 supports color and mark modes and a combined color+intensity dual-mode for stable detection.
