Textile Application | MDSC-1000C Double-Sheet Detector for Warp Stopper Pieces in Hangzhou

Project Background:

With the popularity of automatic winding and warping machines, textile production has become more automated. The fully automatic warping machine is designed to complete the warping process. As labor costs rise, its adoption is increasing.

In the warping machine, the warp stopper system must reliably separate single stopper pieces; failing to separate or separating multiple pieces causes machine stoppage. Stopper thickness is small (about 0.1mm–0.6mm) and typically less than 11mm wide, making detection difficult under equipment vibration.

Solution:

Install Atonm MDSC-1000C Metal Double-Sheet Detector to monitor stopper feed. If double-feed occurs, the system pauses and outputs an alarm until the issue is cleared. The MDSC-1000C with M8 ultra-small probes reliably detects very narrow metal sheet overlaps.
