Project Background

A manufacturer needs to detect missing soldered inductor coils on SMD components.

Solution

Atonm supplied FA1-N1ES fiber sensor with F-MP064 probe. Based on light-line propagation, the fiber sensor detects blocking or reflection of the beam; signals are sent to PLC to count coils and detect missing solder.
