The customer is a leading large-scale enterprise in the food processing industry. Its packaging workshop serves as a critical link in product output, housing a low-speed conveyor belt that transports approximately 10 packages per minute. All products are packaged in white woven bags, each weighing 50kg, with black inkjet codes printed on the bags—the character height of which is only around 1.5cm.
In previous production processes, due to the lack of effective detection methods, products without inkjet codes occasionally made their way out of the production line. This not only compromised product traceability but also risked customer complaints, undermining the enterprise’s brand image. Meanwhile, manual inspection was highly inefficient and unable to meet the demands of large-scale production.
To address this challenge, the enterprise adopted the Atonm Color Sensor CL4. Boasting high sensitivity and precision, this sensor can accurately identify black inkjet codes on white woven bags even in complex environments.

The Atonm Color Sensor CL4 is installed beside the conveyor belt. As products pass by, the sensor rapidly detects the inkjet codes on the woven bags. Once a product without an inkjet code is identified, the sensor immediately triggers the alarm system to notify the staff for handling. With an extremely fast detection speed, it can complete the inspection of a large number of products in a short time, fully meeting the detection requirement of 10 packages per minute on the low-speed conveyor belt.
Since the adoption of the Atonm Color Sensor CL4, the enterprise has reaped remarkable benefits. The outflow of products without inkjet codes from the production line has been effectively curbed, product traceability has been guaranteed, customer complaint rates have decreased, and the enterprise’s brand image has been enhanced. Meanwhile, compared with manual inspection, the sensor significantly improves detection efficiency and saves labor costs, providing strong support for the enterprise’s efficient production and sustainable development.
