Due to the special properties of materials in the PCB industry, double-sheet suction often occurs during automatic feeding. Traditional pneumatic separation methods are usually ineffective and sometimes fail to separate double sheets properly, leading to production downtime and delays. Moreover, if the double-sheet problem is not resolved in time and the sheets enter subsequent cutting and blanking processes, it may cause equipment damage and increase maintenance costs. It also affects product quality, reduces the finished product pass rate, and brings economic losses to the enterprise.
Material Characteristics: The customer’s material is an aluminum substrate with a thickness ranging from 0.8 to 1.2mm and a large area. The substrate has a high oil content and is very sticky, making double-sheet suction more likely to occur during automatic feeding.
Based on the customer’s needs and working conditions, we recommended the Atonm single-probe double-sheet detector. This detector has the following advantages:
Suitable for Installation in Narrow Spaces: Considering the limited equipment space of the customer, the compact design of the MDSC-8500S can well adapt to narrow spaces, facilitating installation at key positions of PCB feeding equipment.
Effective Detection of Non-Magnetic Metal Sheets: For the customer’s aluminum substrate materials, it can accurately detect double-sheet situations and avoid stacking problems.
Built-in Storage for 100 Sets of Formulas: It can store and manage parameters of various materials, allowing the upper computer to quickly switch between metals to be detected.
Equipped with RS-485 Communication Function: It can connect to upper computers such as PLCs to realize system control.
