Working principle of double-sheet detection sensors

Double-sheet detection sensors use a transmitter probe coil driven by high-frequency AC to create a magnetic field and a receiver probe coil to sense induced signals. When metal passes between probes, the magnetic field weakens; stacked sheets cause greater changes in signal strength. The controller compares measured signals to single-sheet baselines to determine double or multiple sheets.
