The MDSC-1600S innovatively adopts a “one-to-four” probe design, where a single controller can connect to four pairs of sensors, supporting multi-station, multi-point synchronous detection. This expands coverage and improves detection efficiency compared to traditional devices. The system allows arbitrary sensor combinations, with each probe pair independently activated or deactivated, flexibly adapting to different production line layouts. Field tests show a detection response time as fast as 80 ms, effectively preventing mold damage caused by overlapping sheets. With the same detection configuration, the per-line investment cost is lower than imported equipment, potentially saving customers over one million RMB annually in maintenance and downtime costs.
Full-Material Coverage + Strong Anti-Interference—Adaptable to Multi-Model Production
Detection capability has been fully upgraded to cover iron, stainless steel, aluminum/aluminum alloys, copper, and other metals, with a thickness range of 0.2–6.0 mm. For aluminum, the range extends to 0.1–8.0 mm, meeting the increased use of lightweight aluminum in new energy vehicles. Leveraging next-generation sensor technology and anti-interference algorithms, the device operates stably under mechanical vibration, electromagnetic interference, and other complex conditions. On-site tests at leading automakers demonstrate performance comparable to German-imported equipment.
Signal Hold + Forced Intervention—Enhanced Safety Assurance
To address missed detection risks, the MDSC-1600S optimizes output logic: detection signals are latched, ensuring the PLC system can reliably read them multiple times, preventing missed detections due to transient signal loss. The device is equipped with a double-sheet hold switch; once double sheets are detected, the system locks the alarm until manually cleared via external IO or Profinet signals. This forces operator intervention, preventing operators from ignoring transient alarms and continuing stamping, further protecting mold safety. The device supports both NPN and PNP outputs (configurable in the host) and integrates seamlessly with mainstream control systems.
Flexible Storage + Digital Integration—Empowering Smart Factories
To meet rapidly changing automotive model requirements, the device features 999 recipe storage sets, surpassing the industry standard of 255, enabling fast switching of detection parameters for multiple materials and specifications and significantly improving changeover efficiency. Compatible with IO, Profinet, and EtherCAT, it enables millisecond-level data exchange with MES systems, providing critical data support for intelligent production line management.
