Principle and Applications of Linear Sensors

Working principle:

When the measured object approaches the sensor, the LC vibration amplitude of the sensor decreases. By using this change, it is converted into a current output. The magnitude of the output current is directly proportional to the distance between the measured object and the sensor sensing surface; when the distance is zero, the output is 0V.

Applications:

Linear displacement sensors are electronic signal generators that measure and control displacement deviations. Typical applications include:

1. Measuring bending and offset

2. Measuring vibration amplitude

3. Controlling dimensional stability

4. Controlling positioning

5. Controlling concentricity or eccentricity

6. Other applications
