Color Detection Case | Color Sensor in Li-ion Battery Coating Process
Project Background:
A Li-ion battery manufacturer needs to monitor coating uniformity on copper and aluminum foils. Occasional coating breaks produce lighter-colored areas that must be detected.
Challenges:
1. High detection precision: the color difference is subtle. 2. Fast response: the coating line runs at high speed and defects occupy a small area.
Solution:
Recommend CL1 Color Sensor with CLH-L41 probe for high precision and fast response. Customers reported the sensor is fast, stable and accurate in production use.
