Color Sensor Application | Fireproof Material Color-Change Alarm

Project Background:

A manufacturer produces a new fireproof insulation material that changes color at different temperatures. The customer required color monitoring so that when the material changes color due to high temperature, the sensor would output a fire alarm signal.

Goal:

Detect color changes in low-light environments and output a fire signal when the material reaches the fire-temperature color range.

Solution:

(Atonm CL1 Color Sensor + CLH-L41 detector head)

Install the color sensor directly above the material to monitor color. The sensor output is integrated with the fire alarm system so that when the material color reaches the specified range, an immediate signal is sent to the alarm system.
