The client of this project is a new energy vehicle manufacturing enterprise in Henan Province, with a planned annual production capacity of 300000 vehicles, mainly producing multiple pure electric passenger car models. The stamping workshop is responsible for the production of the entire vehicle body covering parts and structural components, and has multiple large-scale automated stamping lines, which is the core process of vehicle manufacturing.

The customer's new stamping production line is in the planning stage and has put forward strict requirements for the double sheet inspection process, mainly based on the following pain points:
1. The working conditions are complex and the detection difficulty is high
The production line needs to handle various types of steel plates with a thickness range of 0.5mm-4.0mm, including 12 different materials such as cold-rolled plates, galvanized plates, and high-strength steels, with a thickness span of up to 8 times. Traditional detection methods are difficult to balance the detection accuracy of ultra-thin and thick plates.
2. Multiple vehicle models mixed together, frequent model changes
The production line produces 8 models simultaneously, with 3-5 model changes per day. The original imported equipment needs to be re tuned for parameters for about 30 minutes each time, which seriously affects production efficiency.
3. Tragic historical losses
The old line once experienced a mold breakage accident caused by double tension molding, resulting in direct economic losses exceeding one million yuan. Therefore, double tension testing has been listed as the core quality control point for the construction of the new line.
In response to the above challenges, the Atorm technical team has customized a testing system for customers that includes "source interception+conveyor belt re inspection":

3. Intelligent fault monitoring: Automatic alarm and shutdown for sensor abnormalities, eliminating the risk of "running with problems"
4. Traceability of production data: Real time uploading of detection data to MES system to meet quality management traceability requirements

Since the project was put into operation, it has been running steadily with excellent performance in various indicators

Dual detection is the lifeline of the stamping workshop. Previously, imported equipment was slow to change models, which caused us to lose a lot of production capacity.
