An enterprise operates multiple stamping production lines, mainly engaged in the stamping processing of stainless steel products. In the feeding link of the production lines, it is necessary to detect stainless steel sheets with a thickness range of 1.0-2.5mm, and the core goal is to prevent stacked materials from entering the stamping die.
The entry of stacked materials into the stamping die will lead to serious consequences: at best, it causes the scrapping of stamped products and affects production efficiency; at worst, it damages expensive stamping dies, resulting in huge economic losses. At the same time, it will also cause the production line to stop for maintenance, further exacerbating production delays.
Previously, the customer had been using Panasonic's GD-10 and GD-C1 single/double sheet detection equipment. However, these two models have now been discontinued and can no longer meet the equipment configuration needs of the new production lines. The customer is in urgent need of replacing them with detection equipment from other brands.
After researching, comparing, and testing various single/double sheet detection equipment on the market, the enterprise finally chose the solution of Atonm Metal Double Sheet Detector MDSC-900E matched with a square sensor.

The Atonm Metal Double Sheet Detector MDSC-900E is a stacked material detection device specially designed for metal sheet detection. It has a detection thickness range of 0.1-2.5mm, adopts the magnetic induction principle, and has a detection speed of 600 pcs/min, which can quickly and accurately determine whether the sheet is in a stacked state. Meanwhile, the MDSC-900E is easy to install and debug, and can be well compatible with the enterprise's existing stamping production line control system. There is no need for large-scale modification of the production line, which reduces the cost and difficulty of equipment replacement.
