In the bottle cap manufacturing industry, the requirements for precision in product quality control are increasingly stringent. A customer specializing in bottle cap machine production was faced with a tricky detection challenge in its project, and the advent of the Atonm Color Sensor CL4 provided a perfect solution for them.
The customer focuses on the production of bottle cap machines. In a current project, it is necessary to accurately detect the presence or absence of PE gaskets inside white bottle caps. These bottle caps have a diameter ranging from 45 to 50mm, and both the bottle caps and gaskets are white with minimal color difference. Traditional detection methods struggle to accurately identify the presence of gaskets when colors are similar, which has caused great trouble in production. Failure to achieve precise detection will result in non-gasketed bottle caps being mixed into the finished products, seriously affecting product quality and damaging the customer's reputation.
The Atonm Color Sensor CL4 stands out with its outstanding performance. Its detection logic is ingenious and efficient: when a bottle cap with a gasket is detected, the sensor outputs no signal; once a bottle cap without a gasket is detected, the sensor quickly sends a signal to the host computer. After receiving the signal, the host computer can take immediate action to remove the non-compliant bottle caps in a timely manner. Equipped with high sensitivity and precise color recognition capability, the Atonm Color Sensor CL4 can accurately distinguish the presence or absence of gaskets by capturing subtle differences in optical characteristics, even when the colors of bottle caps and gaskets are nearly identical, thus ensuring detection accuracy.
