Project background
The customer specializes in high-precision multi-station manipulators and robot integration for stamping automation. To ensure stamping accuracy and quality, feeding overlap detection is critical. The customer asked Atonm to provide a solution to ensure there is no overlapping during feeding that could damage parts or dies.
Solution
Install Atonm double-sheet detectors MDSC-1000B in the robot's feeding area to tightly integrate detection with the robot control system for real-time data transfer. Before feeding the manipulator checks the part status; during feeding the Atonm detector monitors continuously. If overlap is detected, it issues an alert and notifies the robot controller. The robot stops feeding and displays a prompt for the operator to intervene and correct part position. After confirmation, feeding restarts and detection continues to ensure no further overlap.
The Atonm MDSC-1000B is a cost-effective double-sheet detector with anti-interference circuit design for strong electromagnetic environments, equipped with high-sensitivity probes for excellent detection efficiency and accuracy.
