Project Background:
The customer is a Guangdong-based company specializing in industrial robot intelligent equipment and supplies complete automation lines. To avoid double or multiple sheets entering dies and causing material waste and die damage, the customer required a metal dual-sheet detection sensor in the feeding stage.
Solution:
After understanding the project (iron sheets 0.8–1.5mm thickness, 70–150mm size) and available installation space, we recommended the cost-effective MDSC-1000B dual detection sensor. The main unit installs in the front cabinet and through-beam probes mount alongside the conveyor. After the robot picks parts, they pass the sensor; only confirmed single sheets continue to the next stamping stage.
The MDSC-1000B uses anti-interference circuitry and high-sensitivity probes for fast, accurate detection. Compatible with magnetic and non-magnetic materials, it effectively solves typical overlap issues.
