1. Company Introduction
The customer is a Dongguan-based manufacturer specializing in wires, connectors, and terminal wires with over20 years of experience. The company is committed to delivering high-quality, reliable electronic connection solutions.

2. Project Requirements
The customer's products use four different terminal wire colors. During automated production, accurate differentiation is required to ensure correct wiring order and product quality.
3. Solution
We provided an Atonm Color Sensor CL2–based solution to ensure accurate detection and differentiation of terminal wire colors during automated production.

Before implementation, we studied the customer's conditions in detail. The terminal wires come in four colors and must be wired in a specific order. We designed the following detection steps to meet the requirement:
1. Sensor setup and calibration: Before installing the Atonm Color SensorCL2, we calibrated the sensor using the customer samples. By presetting colors and recognition parameters, we ensured accurate recognition.
2. Detection process: Once setup and calibration were complete, the automated line began operation. When a terminal wire entered the detection zone, the Atonm Color SensorCL2 scanned and analyzed its color. Using triple 16‑bit RGB computation and precise small‑difference recognition, it could quickly distinguish different terminal wire colors.
3. Color order verification: After recognition, the system compared the result with the preset color order. If correct, the system signaled to proceed with wiring; otherwise, an alert was issued for operator correction.
Throughout the detection process, the Atonm Color SensorCL2 features played a key role:
1. Multiple color presets: The sensor's preset and recognition functions ensure reliable identification and differentiation of terminal wire colors.
2. Fast response: The sensor offers a 200‑microsecond response time, enabling real‑time color detection on high‑speed automated lines to improve production efficiency.
3. High‑precision recognition: With triple 16‑bit RGB calculation, the sensor precisely detects subtle color differences to ensure correct color order.
