Double-sheet issues can cause production loss and defects. The customer is a listed company headquartered in Shenzhen. The welding department contacted Atonm regarding welding of large metal sheets.
Project Requirements
During automated welding, robotic arms pick metal sheets. Due to oil, static, or other causes, double-sheet overlap may occur, damaging sheets and increasing time and cost to resolve. The customer seeks a domestic replacement double-sheet detector to detect single vs double galvanized sheets during robot pick-up.
Sheet size: galvanized sheet 2.2m × 1.6m, thickness 0.5mm to 3.5mm.
Performance match: The customer previously used the Roland UDK20 double-sheet detector; any domestic replacement must match its performance to maintain accuracy and reliability.
